Quality Care on Cameron Road since 2012. Welcome to The Tot Spot Early Learning Centre, a place where children are celebrated, nurtured, and encouraged to explore their world. Conveniently located in Greerton opposite the Racecourse, our purpose-built centre has been a cornerstone of the local community for over a decade.
The Tot Spot is a private, purpose-built early learning centre that first opened its doors in April 2012. Situated on Cameron Road in Greerton, opposite the racecourse, the centre was designed specifically to provide a high-quality creative and educational environment for children from birth to six years of age. Over the years, we have built a team where over 80% of our staff are qualified early childhood teachers, ensuring that our "Messy Monkeys," "Zooming Zebras," and "Crazy Crocs" receive expert care and instruction.

At The Tot Spot, we provide children with opportunities to interact with others and make friends, play and explore, and become independent. We encourage them to take turns, negotiate, and share, helping them problem solve and understand their own feelings as well as those of others. Through this, they develop language and make sense of the world around them.
Our staff are committed to developing themselves further professionally. For us, this is extremely important as we believe staff who are happy, fulfilled, and committed with a direction feed this through to the children and their families.
Michelle is at the centre daily, bringing a wealth of experience and a deeply nurturing background to our community. Previously the owner of a childcare centre in Auckland, her entire nursing career has been dedicated to Paediatric (Children's) Intensive Care.
One aspect of her career she deeply loved was serving as part of the flight team, flying in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter or Lifeflight planes to collect critically ill children from across New Zealand and abroad.
After years of high-stakes medical care, Michelle finds immense joy and satisfaction in spending her days amongst "well, healthy" children, providing them with a safe and happy environment to grow.
